This position supports the company by providing visibility and documentation for all freight moving within our system. The focus of this role is to provide clear and concise communication on all loads moving within the company and proactively identify and mitigate any problems that might impact on time movement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position supports the company by providing visibility and documentation for all freight moving within our system.
  • The focus of this role is to provide clear and concise communication on all loads moving within the company and proactively identify and mitigate any problems that might impact time movement.
  • Initiate check calls with all drivers regarding pick-ups, deliveries, or any event that might impact freight movement.
  • Handle all driver communication, resolving any problems or events that arise.
  • Maintain accurate records on times, dates, equipment numbers, freight bill information, and any other data that should be retained.
  • Work proactively with all departments to ensure all communication is shared in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complete post-shift recaps.
  • Meet KPIs as assigned.
  • Report to management as instructed.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Requirement

  • We prefer someone with prior trucking/transportation/logistics experience for this position.
  • Must have dependable transportation and be comfortable reporting to the office for your assigned shift.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with strong desire to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ideal candidate has a can do, must do work ethic
  • Attention to detail, the ability to complete an assignment.
  • Must be able to effectively initiate and complete 80 to 100 phone calls per shift.
  • Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
  • Customer service skills/experience are a plus.
