You have been hired to serve as an ambassador in a foreign land. Did you know that? You now represent Christ in the earth. Unfortunately, many believers still behave so much like non-believers that it is hard to identify them as special people representing Almighty God. No wonder the apostle Paul begs us to “lay hold of” the truth of our identity in Christ and start acting like we know who we truly are. If believers really understood this truth it would change the way they walk into interviews, talk about their circumstances, and interact with everyone they meet. Above all, knowing that Christ makes His appeal to a lost people though others just like you would change how you go about your business, wouldn't it? never forget, you’re all He’s got on this planet. Whether employed or jobless, you will always be His ambassador.
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I accept my assignment as an ambassador for Christ. I want to bring His appeal to a hurting and hungry world.
- By faith I receive all that I need to represent Jesus and the Kingdom of God.
- My life is a testimony to the God I serve.
Word of the Day
So we are Christ''s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ''s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.
