Position Overview

InRage Entertainment is seeking self-motivated A&R Representatives/Talent Scouts to help identify singers, songwriters, producers, influencers, and creatives with strong commercial and artistic potential.

This is a commission-based, independent contractor opportunity ideal for individuals with strong music taste, networking abilities (sales), and a passion for discovering new talent.

The A&R Representative will play a key role in helping InRage Entertainment expand its roster and creative network.

Responsibilities

• Identify and scout emerging talent in-person and across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, live events, showcases, and local music scenes
• Submit qualified talent leads and artist opportunities to InRage Entertainment leadership
• Attend showcases, performances, networking events, and industry functions when applicable
• Assist in setting meetings, auditions, or introductions with potential talent
• Help evaluate artist potential including branding, audience engagement, work ethic, originality, and commercial viability
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when representing the company

Requirement

Qualifications

• Strong passion for music, entertainment, and artist discovery
• Excellent communication and networking skills (sales)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience in A&R, artist management, promotion, marketing, or music industry networking is preferred but not required
• Ability to identify singers and artists at all levels (beginners, hobbyists, serious)

Compensation Structure

This is a commission-based independent contractor position. A&R/Talent Scout receives commission on talent successfully contracted with InRage Entertainment as well as access to networking opportunities, mentorship, and hands-on industry experience

Specific commission terms will be discussed and outlined in an Independent Contractor Agreement.

Ideal Candidate

This role is perfect for someone who has strong people skills and the ability to Sales experience is very helpful.
