Career Tip of the Day
Gifts
This verse tells us a master’s response to a servant who successfully fulfilled his purpose. Did you notice that the servant was faithful in handling a small amount? You also have an assignment — to demonstrate God’s love. You don’t need to be a great evangelist or preacher to do this. You just have to be faithful with what you’ve been given. What does this have to do with a job search? Everything! You can take the little you have, while you’re unemployed, and use it for the Kingdom. We can share love and support and encouragement with others right now. In so doing, you can be assured that our Master will reward you with assignments in and out of the workplace where you can have an even greater impact. You are equipped to bring others into eternal life in Christ. What could be more important?
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I invest my gifts and talents in others for the sake of the Kingdom.
- By faith I receive wisdom and direction in order to use my gifts as God has designed.
- Each day I will bring God a return on the love He has invested in me.
Word of the Day
“The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!
