Career Tip of the Day

Training
Most of us dislike getting feedback, especially the corrective kind. When was the last time you said to God, “Please show me anything I’m thinking, believing or doing that doesn’t line up with your Word.” Yet in the workplace, in the job search, and in the Kingdom, nothing is likely to be more beneficial than hearing the straight truth. This scripture provides a great model. Develop the courage to ask God to point out the sin, strongholds, and errors in your thinking and to lead you to His way of doing and being right. Then with the confidence of a clean heart and mind, ask for feedback about your past performance in the workplace as well. Chances are, there’s room for improvement!
WORDS OF LIFE:
- I ask for feedback because I desire to be excellent in all that I do.
- By faith I receive God’s correction and the power to make the necessary changes.
- I receive feedback as a gift and bless the giver for helping me to get better.
Word of the Day
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. (NLT)
