There are many who truly question if they’ll ever find a job again or if they’ll ever recover from the financial setback of unemployment. But you don’t have to worry about that. The New Century Version of this scripture says that our God has promised that we will never be defeated. Don’t lay awake at night worrying about this. Since He never sleeps, you can cast your cares onto His shoulders and get a good night’s rest. If God is on watch, what sense is there in both of you being awake? While you rest, be assured that the same God that led the Israelites to freedom, destroyed the walled city of Jericho, and raised Jesus from the dead, will come through for you. Your victory is assured!
