You are in the middle of a battle. This means, unfortunately, that you need to adopt some wartime behaviors. No smart soldier runs onto the battlefield unarmed. You simply can’t afford to launch into your day without your armor either. Just because the enemy is invisible to the natural eye doesn’t mean he isn’t working to steal from you and destroy your life every chance he gets. His best strategy is to convince believers that he isn’t real and that there’s no need to be vigilant. He loves it when he can get you to blame God for His failure to rotect you, rather than focusing on the actual source of thedestruction! Don’t fall for it. But neither should you forget that the greater army is on your side and the far greater power is within you. That’s the key — don’t forget what Christ has already done, and don’t go out unarmed.
